If that's true it's probably at least in part due to Kate! She used to work in dermatology and was giving me advice and and sending me boxes of medical grade SPF a decade ago. The rest is down to the adrenochrome Paul hooks me up with obviously.

And Jeff - that was the single weirdest ILX meeting I've ever experienced. Was it the day after the marathon bombing but before the manhunt started? I remember everything felt very tense.

didn't really get to test it properly - I went to sort them out once it was dark when I knew they'd be less active and they were pretty quiet. I'd accidentally disturbed them earlier on and got stung and chased away. they'd been nesting in a compost bin and a fox had come along and ripped the little door off, probably looking for food, so I had clear it all up and fix the door back on. the leaf blower was my one form of defence but I didn't even need to use that in the end
