you're getting something for dinner at the grocery store but you aren't cooking. i.e. it's mostly all out of a package, maybe heated up. what do you get?

rotisserie chicken
garden of eatin' red hot blues corn tortilla chips
hummus
kombucha

yeah i should get a vegetable but whatever i take a multivitamin

i actually bought one of those frozen skillet dinners for the first time the other day just to see if they were worth getting in case i just didn't have it in me to cook after work or go out for takeout. Birdseye Mongolian Beef with string beans. i had it tonight. not bad!

My go to is frozen wild caught salmon patties. Toss em on a bun with lettuce, tomato, mayo. Done.

they often have some sort of premade chicken parm tray that's decent, otherwise just deli sandwich stuff or canned soup + pita and hummus

Realized yesterday that I've been completely overlooking the H-Mart near my house as a source of ready meals.

i got a thing for grocery store sushi. a little spendy but still not as much as eating out, unless it's fast food.

10ish years ago I used to have the vest grocery store lunches and occasional dinners from Treasure Island Foods in Hyde Park, Chicago. Fried chicken and salad bar.

My husband's basically fading away, and cooking seems to be beyond me nowadays, so most of our dinners are a frozen entree and a bagged salad. We use a toaster oven to cook it in because our RV has bad power and can't support a microwave.
