She doesn't have a thread. Not sure if she needs one, but I like her, and I just watched Woman of the Hour last night, her debut as a director, and as debuts go it was pretty good. I also liked her in Up in the Air and The Company You Keep. I want to see Alice, Darling.

Spent part of the movie trying to figure out who she reminded me of--was it someone I knew in real life?--then finally figured out that if you were to close your eyes, you might think you were listening to Elisabeth Moss.

she's the kind of actress who should be completely annoying but I like her in most things. She's particularly great with Aubrey Plaza in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, my favorite stupid movie of recent years.

Will look into that too. I know her biggest success are the Pitch Perfect movies, but not really my kind of thing...even though I'm sure I'd enjoy her.
