we've been brainwashed into believing that sloth is a vice. i say it's a virtue. at any rate, humans are naturally lazy. who would actually do anything if you could get away with just sitting on yer fat ass all day?

i'd type more odes to the virtues of sloth, but i can't be bothered .. time for a nap ...

Damn right. And you can get away with it to a certain extent. like I could start this 3000 word essay now, or I could sit here drinking orange juice and downloading stuff. hmmmmm.

Lazy = goodness. Unless it causes problems for others. But if not, why worry?

I don't know - I enjoy work, whether it's cleaning my atelier, painting a mural, or cooking a fine beef stew. In our society, sitting on your ass is a form of work, because your time is still owned : by Oprah, Soapera, or Judge Judy. Humans are designed to work, it's just that when you're atrophied, you've forgotten how much better you felt when you were active.

Today, I have been very lazy. I even managed to take my afternoon nap before lunch.

Raise your glass to lazy days! And may there be many more to come!

i'm playing a lazy game of sitting on the sofa, watching my mac battery power down (red 0.38 minutes remaining), as I can't be bothered to get up to get the charger.

My laziness might have ruined my life. I'm not sure.

thing about yr laziness or otherwise only listed as an issue ito how it impacts on other people is, see, that they can and will eventually go and do all that cool shit as a result of not being lazy but you have to sit home and eat beans just to make rent and yr job is answering the phone or some other not fun shit because you were lazy and that was ok by you at the time nb those other ppl that go and do all that cool shit eventually may have been people that you thought yr laziness wasn't impacting and guess what they aint coming back tbh

laziness is always a luxury and can be a virtue. it's one of the greatest gifts a person can give to another person - the ability to be lazy.
