So apart from the mighty EBAY, where can i coat myself up and look like the tragic once-indie, now IDM, kid on the pull that i am? Sod that, show me lovely coats.

My new coat is lovely, Uniqlo, 50 quid, three quarter length, huge hood which is fleece lined, as is the upper part of the coat and the hand warmer pockets. it's kind of a green colour (the label says shark's fin) and it's dead warm and snuggly. I love it.

A coat that indicates you are on the pull - does such a thing exist? Surely most people pull indoors therefore have removed their coats? (NB - I have a mate who almost never removes his coat and is an exception to this rule but the non-removal of coat has become part of his personality and is therefore OK.)

so where does "get your coat luv, you've pulled" come in to this?

I got my coat in River Island, which is surprising cos its normally such a crap shop. I got caught up in the whole parka fever. its dead warm and nice and stuff but it was 100 pounds. my last 100 pounds in the world.

Headcoats ON!

My unashamedly retro Alpha jacket keeps me snug as a thug in a rug.

I was once waiting in the cloakroom queue with a young gent in the process of getting my coat having pulled when he changed his mind. Charming. However he texted me later to explain that this was due to over-consumption of assorted substances which he feared would affect his sexual prowess and the pull was later consummated (just so you don't all think it's cos I'm rough or anything).

Gareth, you own a lot of coats. How did you accidently send one to new jersey?

is it too late to jump on the parka bandwagon? was that too last season, too beckham? what's next in the world of coats? will the skater-punk kid cagoul thing remain timeless?

I too am intrigued by the inadvertent New Jersey coat mailing. How would that happen?
