at any rate, the government is in a definite crisis now. the heat is on the PM and the hounds are sniffing scandal around every corner of the House.... and his leadership is being called into question. first and foremost, chretien's finance minister is well-liked, diplomatic, well- spoken and he has corrected the mistakes of former finance ministers (including chretien). second, paul martin is no friend of chretien.... they just work together. remember the leadership race back in 1990? who finished 2nd?
martin is definitely not a youngster but he is definitely capable of taking over the reins of leadership of the country. when he assumes the leadership of the liberals (which he likely will next year), his first task should be to clean house (get rid of the likes of copps, tobin, and definitely boudria who are all chretien cronies/clones/yes men/women) and bring more new blood into the party.
that is all.

I can't say Canadian politics are one of my top ten interests, but this obviously caught my eye. I can only endorse such a suggestion.

There is this inability to define Canada in any way except in a comparison to the US (mostly using the words "nice" or "boring"). Also, Canada Post workers are not on strike. Read a newspaper.

The Canadian artic is warming up. In the future we will ship all of the alligators in NY's sewer system up there for their retirement, including full medical benefits.

they find people on the streets who are hungry & tell them they have food they can eat, but only if they do so in a competitive setting w/a paying audience & until they reach visceral capacity
