Shoot, I'd like to get a doll too, Sure i can have sex with prostitutes, go to the strip club. I still believe that men and women can have relationships, but that doesnt make them any better than these guys here. They've done their share, they may have bought dolls and live with them, but they arent fools; they know what they can get and what they can't, they just chose what they felt more comforatable, and more less stressful, the best choice they can make for themselves. Some people talk about that ugly guys can get ugly girls? im sorry but i have to laugh at that to an extent. Now there was a good looking guy, he asked this ugly girl to dance because she was not with the group, hanging by the wall in the club, and was turned down... well.. sad for him, but guess what, it tells me a lot of things. Overall, they all bought it to fill in the void of lonliness in their lives. It may not be to your liking, but it is to theirs. And the virginia dude talking about the phone call about the woman calling not to go out but rather babysitting her son while she goes out with some other deuschbag, well more power to him, he turned her down. Each men has their own way of treating themselves with their doll. I understand now how these men feel. I understand that everyone has their opinions about this rather subject. Some feel that it is wrong and some thinks it is creepy. Some say that it is like necrophelia, but let me point out something. It isn't necrophelia; they havent dug up any body and banged it. It's pretty easy to empathize with the sadness that might motivate the purchase of and care for a Reborn (is that really what they're fucking called?). Much, much harder to do that with a Real Doll, given the detachable vagina situation and all. I mean, I can kind of understand it, at a vast distance, but "sadness" is not the emotion I feel. At all.

i've been wanting to watch that Channel 4 doc on those dudes but the website never works for me. Maybe that's a good thing..

today has been peak djp :D

The C4 documentary is okay, but features some horribly awkward bits where the guys who dress up 'come out' to their friends... who obviously are trying to be understanding and not seem narrow-minded but you can see how uncomfortable they are.

There's also a CSI episode featuring them, which is not as funny as the CSI Furry one but still pretty top notch in 'Quincy punk episode' style.
