I love the story that Alan Gill wanted to call the band "The Daleks", and Dave Balfe wanted to call the band "Darling I Love You", so they settled for a mix of the two.

i LOVE the instrumental doom/sludge band 5ive. i LOOOOOOve them. but that name. oh well. feel like they could have been bigger if they had been called Green Bonghorn or something. Greenweedface. Hevybongcretins. like, even those dumb names would be better cuz 5ive just reminds me of the 90s or something and who wants to be reminded of that? though they aren't from the 90s.
