basically any time i see the name of some old classic 70s or 80s song and then see something like "(1999 remix)" i cringe pretty hard. i can't help it.

Artist - Song Title ft. Guest Artist

as opposed to:

Artist ft. Guest Artist - Song Title

it implies that the "ft. Guest Artist" is actually part of the song title and that they don't necessarily have to appear on the record
