FT Redesign - Suggestions

From (hopefully) Monday, FT is being EXCITINGLY REDESIGNED and RELAUNCHED with HOT NEW FEATURES etc. etc. - does anyone have any suggestions as to what they'd like to see, design or feature wise?

Javascript, Javascript, JAVASCRIPT! Popups and graphic rollovers EVERYWHERE! Rock!

On a serious note, I'm one of the few people out there who thinks white backgrounds are awful. They give me eye-pain when I look at them. Some option to have a dark background on the pages would be neat (and probably a sensible use of Javascript).

For the record, I CAN'T read dark backgrounds because my eye sight is a bit shaky right now (note to self: make eye doctor appt), so maybe if white is too much for some people, you could switch it to a nice tawny color, I'll look up some nice color schemes if you like and see how they work together (can you tell I'm doing anything to avoid actual work?).

You definitely need to add in a feature that causes non-fatal error messages whenever anyone logs in, just to be like every other online zine or newssite. And nudie pics of the female contributors.

Nowhere in the AICON rules does it say nudie pictures are disallowed. Though it would make the feature a bit tougher, though since hardly anyone ever gets it right that's not a problem really.

Ally might be on to something. Just start getting all of the nude picture submissions in, and then photoshop the pics to give them an ambery, B&S-esque tint. You then start charging the sad indie kids a subscription fee like all of the proper porn sites.

The FILTHY LUCRE will start pouring in.
