"What's wrong with being sexy??"

Sophie reviews Ludacris' new single in NYLPM, which prompts me to ask for my readers favourite other sexy-not-sexist tracks, i.e. ones where the artist could pull the "it's a celebration of women/men" line and people would stand a chance of believing them.

My initial pick would be Sir Mix-A-Lot's mighty "Baby Got Back"

Does DJ Assault count? In, ahem, 'Dick By the Pound' he is certainly very explicit about the steps he will take to ensure that his lady- friend will, ahem, "come like a mother-fucker.'

Thanks Alex, that's the one example i was looking for myself, so yeah it counts. It actually works because it's such a cool call-and- response song...and well horny IMHO.

Bjork's "Enjoy"
Lots and lots of Prince - "Head", "Do Me, Baby", "Gett Off", "Kiss", and "I Wanna Be Your Lover" all spring immediately to mind.
And "Baby Got Back" is a must-have on any sexy-not-sexist compilation.

I might have known you wouldn't be able to resist putting in DJ Assault, Thomson.

Didn't Outkast just do "I'll Call Before I Come?" How considerate.

Tangetially, Lil' Kim is excellent for actual sexism (if, obviously, reversed - "can women actually be sexist?" etc.) : "I don't wanna suck ya/I might not even fuck ya/just lay on the bed/and give me head!... can't wait to tell all the girls how you [section deleted due to offensiveness]

Smog -- "Your Face" which is on the Hey Drag City! collection, and features the lyrics, "More beautiful than the ocean/was the look on your face/when you came/But oh/when you faked it/that was the most beautiful/of all..."
