And you could type in whatever song you wanted, and it would tell you what it sampled, or who sampled it? What is it where is it can anyone help?

I remember hearing a rumor some years back that Thes One from the hip hop group People Under the Stairs sent the Who Sampled headquarters a firmly worded email and they subsequently took down all of the entries involving People Under the Stairs and do not allow any new submissions involving the group. That's kind of bullshitty if you ask me.

Yeah you can find a few artists where there's a "Please note: this page is protected. No further content can be added to it by community members at this time." message on the bottom of their page, because either they or their label contacted the site about it, and wanted their information removed. It's why you can't find information about The Field's sample sources.

Still not as ridiculous as Bryan Adams refusing to be listed on AllMusic though.
