yeah, but i have a buddy at Jux. Plus, I think promo copies are around now.

You really have to hear it tho, Aesop has totally come into his style, it's as if the other shit was just rehearsal. "We're Famous" is the most mind-bogglingly great hip hop track I've heard in a long time - El-P guests and it's one of his best verses since "Patriotism." And the BEAT...well, you'll see....

Von Ryan Express - Up On The Block
His Hero Is Gone - The Dead of Night In Eight Movements

A friend of my sister's gave me a bunch of crappy LPs that I've salvaged a handful of decent ones from. Unfortunately, most of them are duplicates of ones I already have--The White Album, Abbey Road, Sgt. Peppers, Hot Rocks I, bunches of Joni Mitchell things, etc. And a fuckload of Eagles, Bread and Bad Company records.

Ian Johnson (elmo oxygen), Saturday, 2 August 2003 21:05 (twenty-one years ago) link

Ian, if you take 2 Bread albums and put a Joni Mitchell album in between them then you will have yourself a Joni Mitchell sandwich! They are kinda bitter and smokey, but high in fiber.
