The songs on MySpace sound kind of New Wave-y. Is that what the rest of the disc sounds like?

it has a new wave vibe into it, but it's more complex than that.the Eno/roxy music and Beck comparsions,as described at the pfrk review are also in. it's this kind of record that is hard not to like imo (

Okay, Zeno, Smoke just appeared on eMusic and -- largely because of your recommendation -- I grabbed it. Early impressions: I see the Eno comparisons, but I'm hearing much more of an early 80s David Bowie vibe in the first three songs (through New Violence). Very nice.

thanks man.always at yr service. the record is a minimal, humble excersice in Eno,electronic sound, and simple melodies. i like it cause it's in the middle between simple and sophisticated, and it doesnt take itself too seriously as most of the genre records sounds like.

Listening to this, I hear a song and when it's almost over, I realize, hey, this sounds like a Fleetwood Mac song! and then I look at the song title and feel stupid.
