I'm learning to appreciate Aerosmith again, and this collection of album tracks is the reason why.

I generally prefer late period Aerosmith. The only thing from the early period worth voting for would have been "Dream On".

When I DJ, I almost always take my copy of Gems with me so I can play "Chip Away At The Stone," their most countryish song ever. So I am voting for that one. (Runnerup: "Lord Of The Thighs.")

when this comp came out I bought the cassingle of "Chip Away The Stone" and used to rock it constantly in my truck on my pizza delivery routes. New old Aerosmith! good times. ("S.O.S." was on the B-Side .. which was of course previously released but *wasn't* on 'Gems')

Lord of the Thighs is a lost classic. The Breeders version rocks as well.

I disagree with every word of that sentence. I am the polar opposite, and hate Dream On.

MAMA KIN!!!!

Aerosmith's version of Train Kept a Rollin will always and eternally pale compared to the Yardbirds' version

The band members were also in dire financial straits, with guitarist Joe Perry owing the band $80,000 for room service, which he planned to repay by recording a solo album.
