Previously: Part Doce. I’ve never heard of the Prosaics. Where they any good? What happened to the album? Last.fm says they broke up due to ‘contractural problems’. But of what kind?

Seem to remember enjoying the song 'Glitterball' by Seachange, dunno how it would hold up today. Was hugely disappointed by that Pretty Girls Make Graves album, a massive let down after the one before it. Was bored stiff by Yo La Tengo by this stage, and never really liked Interpol after the first album. Guess I'll vote Cat Power?

Just wake me up when Fucked Up's Chemistry comes up. Otherwise I need my sleep more than I need to vote on this...

gary young versions of crooked rain and wowee zowee songs make this one a no-brainer for me; LA's desert origins!

OTM to this. I loved the previous one so much, still do, this was SUCH a disappontment to me. So was Antics though, so all that Interpol clogging up the list makes my decision a tiny bit easier. The easy response would be to choose the Crooked Rain reish, but that kinda feels like cheating, so I'm going to give GbV the nod ever so slightly over New Pornos and Dead Meadow. Remember liking that Seachange album too, but I haven't listened to it in years to see how it held up.

Mission of Burma -- ONoffON -- not the one I've listened to the most but still a great spin.

Missed this one. Would have voted for Dead Meadow.

There should've been at least one vote for Half Smiles of the Decomposed. Great final record, and underrated.

And what the hell is Prosaic's Aghast/Agape? The title is intriguing.
