Creepy/scary uses of songs in movies (and if they alter how you hear the song after)

"In Dreams" in Blue Velvet
"Hurdy Gurdy Man" in Zodiac
(I found them sort of vaguely creepy before these movies, now they definitely carry that feeling.)
Others?

"Sister Christian" in Boogie Nights would have to count.

Goodbye Horses - Q Lazzarus

Although I didn't know about the song beforehand so no idea if it altered it's meaning.

"Do't Fear the Reaper" makes a nice cameo in "Halloween."
"In-A-Gada-Da-Vida" makes an intense soundtrack to the end of "Manhunter."

Not sure if either of their appearances alter how I hear them, though. Not like "Stuck in the MIddle ..." or "Hurdy Gurdy."

'Where Is My Mind' at the end of 'Fight Club'.

The film Wings Of Desire has the opposite effect on Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' From Her To Eternity and The Carny, as it's a background to Bruno Gantz meeting his love interest in human form for the first time.

Silence of the Lambs does not succeed in making Hip Priest by The Fall any more insidious.

Tubular Bells sounds really scary once you've seen The Exorcist.

Johnny Cash - ring of fire / Silent Hill / abandoned diner scene / nice use of 'add authenticity with smallest effort' / no change in reception
The Diamonds - the stroll / Night of the Creeps / intro scene in b/w / music as aid to timeline orientation / no change
The Platters - twilight time / Blood and Donuts / final scene /creepy context but romantic / lasting impression
