Just an excuse to post Philip Pullman's reading list: great selection (meaning => read some of it so I think I might enjoy what I haven't), good balance of fiction and non-fiction, has a theme (er, religion, I only know scraps about the guy) but isn't drawn to it and, above all, the comments where he easily manages to say a lot in 2-3 lines.
Had a glance of it a few months but then another look earlier to see whether I had read anymore of it.
Any good ones you're fond of?
