What is this... "snorkling" you speak of?

I shouldn't be surprised because lol no oceans in MN, but I am inordinately surprised that jjj and Sara R-C have not done more snorkling! It's totally rad! Get out and DO IT

I want to learn diving but I fear that a disused quarry just outside of Goole wd not really give me that Endless Ocean vibe. More of a CSI vibe really.

snorkeling is just about the best thing fucking ever btw, which is sad because theres no point in doing it here.

You can take scuba classes at Olaf, but the open dive test is in the Mississippi, which is just o_O to me. A student was lost doing that a few years ago... (I don't blame the instructor at all, I just think it's inherently dangerous to be doing that in the Mississippi).

I went snorkling once... 14 years ago? and it was awesome and I still have the mask/flippers/snorkel even though they are probably all dry rotted now because I refuse to give up on the possibility that I will do it again some day.

I went once but couldn't learn how to pop my ears so I could never go down deep where I wanted to go :(
