i was trying to come up with my list of 15 favorite albums but its
impossible

i might be able to do a 15 favorite albums off the top of my head that i remember at the moment list. maybe.

oh there were all sorts of arbitrary rules that went into that list (1 album per artist, no overthinking or vetoing) and I basically just stopped when I hit 15 and STILL left some albums off (hi dere Portishead - Dummy, Big Black - Atomizer/Rich Man's Eight Track, Walt Mink - Miss Happiness, Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole, Pet Shop Boys - Actually)

tbf the problem is making a 15 thats non-genre specific - like it weirds me out to have barely any hip hop in there, and basically skip all classic rock

oh also my list is in no order at all, that would be a whole other nightmare

mine was in no order either aside from "order albums came to mind"

ok the fact that Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables isnt on my list means i am stupid and rong
