the 4th one should be 'adverb'

hence,
poster, banning, ILTMI, very, poppagey, court, restraint, Marc Loi, liberating, medals, smelly, cheese, deleted, thread, enjoyable, lurid, improper, nonsense (last one should be a noun)

have you never done madlibs before?
― sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:44 (fifteen years ago) link
I think it's "checks." The tense doesn't make sense.
― bamcquern, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:46 (fifteen years ago) link
Yeah, but the concept of madlibs is that you just pick a word based on part of speech - tenses don't matter, so plenty of times, the sentences aren't grammatically correct.
― sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:47 (fifteen years ago) link
Tenses matter!
― bamcquern, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:48 (fifteen years ago) link
They'll even say "past tense" and stuff like that. I think they do, anyway.
checks is a noun - like in that I love style thread!
― sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:49 (fifteen years ago) link
there are two too many - it falls out of synch - i think "sloshy, night, natural, stooge, influential, fruit" needs to have one pair removed - ie 4 words rather than 6
― a. cole, u thic (acoleuthic), Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:49 (fifteen years ago) link
Oh, I missed a word. I put it in the verb spot.
