i mean connecticut is particularly into womens basketball because of uconn and hartford did once upon a time have its own hockey team but basically its a small city thats firmly in new england sports territory, the patriots even pretended they were gonna move there once

having said that the mohegan sun casino isnt even that close to hartford, but it is still in the culturally new england part of connecticut, as opposed to the tri states part of connecticut, gotta hand it to them being part of two unofficial federations

The WNBA games I've seen showcase a very nice brand of hoops, that's not as incredibly athletic as NBA, but have great passing and fast team play. Very watchable.
