this i don't believe. i think o'neal is desperately concerned with going out on a super high note -- preferably by beating bryant in the finals. he could have signed for more money elsewhere. not that i think he's likely to put boston over-the-top at this stage of his career, but whatevs.

We've been on a pretty shaky run. Not sure that I can really pin down what the exact issue is. Mostly feels like only JT and JB are making plays at the moment, and everyone else is struggling to find a rhythm.

Seems like Jordan Walsh wants to be a guy

more power to him as far as im concerned

his defense seems like its there he prob need to get a little stronger but other than that hes got the prototypical wing stuff on that end hes long moves well gets after it etc, offense is still pretty dicey he can hit an open three but past that its unclear he can dribble a bit but im not sure if he has any idea how to use it the celtics top nine all have an handle on how to play within the flow even kornet and hauser who arent ball handlers understand how to keep the offense flowing theyre not getting themselves in awkward situations too much where walsh still seems like hes struggling to read the game and is subject to record scratch moments, however his upside with his mobility shooting and handle is def of a guy who can do some stuff im just not sure how far away he is maybe not that far just needs some more reps in the bigs or maybe it never really happens idk think hes prob worthy of more minutes to figure it out

Last night's game was still too close, and there were too many mental mistakes, but I think it was a step in the right direction. It felt like the Celts were putting up an actual fight this time. Probably Derrick White's best showing in a month or more, Hauser also had some good buckets. Notably Horford and Holiday were benched for injuries, I suspect these have been slowing them down over the past couple weeks. I liked how this forced Joe to experiment with his lineups and give various younger players some real minutes. Springer was of course the standout, naturally right as trade rumors are being floated. Also found it interesting how Joe limited the time when Tatum and Brown were playing together, instead having each one individually lead their squad.
